Tell the supplier whether the product is for FTTH access, telecom ODN, data center cabling, LAN/security cabling or distributor stock. Application context helps match connector, cable jacket and packing details.
2. Confirm Optical and Mechanical Details
- Connector type: LC, SC, FC, ST, MTP/MPO or hybrid
- Polish type: UPC or APC
- Fiber type: G652D, G657A1, G657A2, OM3, OM4 or OS2
- Cable diameter and jacket: 0.9mm, 2.0mm, 3.0mm, PVC, LSZH or PE
- Length, color, label, packing and quantity
3. Add Project Documents When Available
A BOM, drawing, current product photo or previous supplier model helps shorten quotation time. For MTP/MPO assemblies, include polarity, gender, fiber count and cable length list.
