FTTH Expansion Signals: Build a Connected ODN BOM

As fiber deployment moves from network strategy into phased builds, a practical RFQ should connect the splitter line to the distribution frame, drop path and installation accessories instead of treating each component as an isolated price request.

Recent North American fiber-broadband publications point to continued FTTH and middle-mile planning. They do not identify a Lumafyn project, approval or product specification. The Fiber Broadband Association’s 2025 North American FTTH deployment update reports record 2025 deployment and approaching 100 million total FTTH passings. This is a broad market signal; it is not a forecast for any individual buyer or tender.

In May 2026, the Fiber Broadband Association published a technical paper on cable-network transition to FTTH, covering deployment models and operational considerations. A sourcing team can use that context to separate design-stage material lists from installation and replenishment orders.

The Association’s March 2026 middle-mile framework emphasizes coordinated backbone investment. Where a project has separate backbone and access-network packages, buyers should retain the interface, location and quantity information that connects them.
