The Fiber Broadband Association’s 2025 North American FTTH deployment update reports record 2025 deployment and approaching 100 million total FTTH passings. This is a broad market signal; it is not a forecast for any individual buyer or tender.
In May 2026, the Fiber Broadband Association published a technical paper on cable-network transition to FTTH, covering deployment models and operational considerations. A sourcing team can use that context to separate design-stage material lists from installation and replenishment orders.
The Association’s March 2026 middle-mile framework emphasizes coordinated backbone investment. Where a project has separate backbone and access-network packages, buyers should retain the interface, location and quantity information that connects them.
Comparable public FTTH product resources from Corning, CommScope and AFL use buyer-search terms around cable assemblies, panels/modules and pre-terminated drop assemblies. These are terminology and content-structure signals only; they do not establish cross-brand compatibility or Lumafyn specifications.
Connected FTTH / ODN RFQ Fields
- PLC splitter line: list each ratio as a separate item, with quantity, required package type and connector/polish where applicable.
- Distribution point: identify whether the splitter line is intended for an ODF, patch panel, terminal box, closure, cabinet or another project location.
- Fiber management: state the pigtail, adapter, tray, panel or cassette requirement that belongs with that line, rather than assuming an accessory set.
- Access path: include drop cable, fast connector and installation accessory lines only where they are required by the project drawing or material schedule.
- Commercial handoff: attach quantities by phase, packing/labeling needs, destination country and any drawing or reference model. Do not assume price, inventory, lead time or certification from a category name.
