1x16 PLC Splitter RFQ Checklist for FTTH Projects

A 1x16 splitter request is easier to review when it describes the module or housing, interfaces, pigtail plan and installation point—not only the split ratio.

1x16 PLC splitter RFQ planning for FTTH project sourcing

Start With the 1x16 Splitter Format

Write 1x16 as its own BOM line, then identify whether the project calls for bare fiber, a mini module, ABS box, LGX cassette, rack-mount module or another required housing. The housing must match the intended panel, ODF, cabinet, terminal or enclosure—not simply the desired output count.

Use This Line-by-Line RFQ Checklist

Splitter line1x16 ratio and quantity; keep each format or interface variation on a separate line.
Housing / moduleBare, mini, ABS, LGX, rack-mount or the project-required format.
InterfacesInput and output connector family, polish and any stub-tail requirement.
Fiber / pigtailsFiber requirement plus input and output pigtail or cable lengths where applicable.
Installation pointODF, panel, cabinet, terminal, splice closure or other project location.
Commercial contextProject quantity, label or packing request, destination country, BOM, drawing and reference model.

Connect the Splitter to the FTTH / ODN BOM

List the splitter’s related passive-fiber products beside it as distinct linked lines: the ODF or enclosure, pigtails, adapters, drop cable, fast connectors and installation accessories. That makes a supplier’s questions easier to resolve and keeps a project quotation from treating the splitter as an isolated part.

Common Gaps That Delay a 1x16 Quote

  • Ratio is given but the housing or mounting format is not.
  • The connector family is named without the required polish or input/output detail.
  • Output pigtails are required but their lengths or routing context are omitted.
  • One line combines different package formats, interfaces or quantities.
  • The panel, cabinet or terminal context is missing, so related items cannot be checked against the same BOM.

Send a Reviewable 1x16 Splitter Request

Send the completed line list, relevant ODF or enclosure information, connected passive-fiber items and any drawing or BOM reference to sales@lumafyn.com. Lumafyn can review the RFQ for PLC splitters and connected FTTH / ODN product lines.
