Start With Split Ratio and Package Type
PLC splitter sourcing becomes much clearer when the buyer separates split ratio from package type. A 1x8 LGX cassette splitter, a 1x16 ABS box splitter and a 1x32 rack mount splitter may all belong to one FTTH project, but they need separate RFQ rows because installation location, connectorization and packing can differ.
Lumafyn supports PLC splitter RFQs for FTTH, ODN, ISP, telecom distribution and rack/cabinet projects. Buyers can include connected drop cable, ODF, terminal box, adapter and pigtail requirements in the same BOM.

Common Package Selection
- ABS box PLC splitter: often used when a protected module is needed for cabinet, box or distribution applications.
- LGX cassette PLC splitter: useful for rack, cabinet and modular ODF installations.
- Mini steel tube PLC splitter: compact choice for terminal boxes, closures or tight installation spaces.
- Rack mount PLC splitter: practical when the project needs high-density central-office or equipment-room installation.
- Bare fiber splitter: selected when the buyer has a defined enclosure and splicing plan.
