Common MTP/MPO Cable Choices
- Trunk cable: useful for backbone or panel-to-panel high-density fiber paths.
- Branch harness: used when the buyer needs MTP/MPO on one side and multiple LC or other interfaces on the other side.
- Fanout assembly: helps route high-density fiber counts into separated connection legs.
- Conversion cable: used when the channel needs to convert between cabling layouts or interfaces.
- Pre-terminated assembly: suitable when the project wants factory-prepared cable paths and fewer field-termination steps.
